Dear Visitors,
Thanks for visiting Milliken Horticulture Services’ new website. As a growing small business in the Midlands, I knew it was time to expand to the Web to attract new clients and update our services for current clients. I’m Walks Milliken, owner and operator of Milliken Horticulture Services, LLC, for the last 13 years. As a native South Carolinian and avid outdoorsman, I started the company when I realized that I could work outdoors and still earn a living. I started with a small lawn mowing business while I was in high school and from that passion for landscaping, I went to both Midlands Technical College and Trident Technical College and earned degrees in business and horticulture.
The business started as just a yard maintenance and I eventually phased out the maintenance business to focus on landscape design, and then expanded to irrigation and lighting design. Over the last several years, we have increased our staff, our hardscape service and our equipment. We only buy plants and trees from local nurseries to support the local economy and we concentrate on native plants.
My goal is to make our clients happy with the design, the installation and the end product. I look forward to working with you on your new outdoor living space and creating a special place for your family to create long-lasting memories.
